n When you’re half asleep, you assume all kinds of crazy sh#it to be true (Utah Earthquake!) | The Anti-Marketing Manifesto

This morning there was an earthquake in Utah!

We felt it.

I was deep in sleep, then the bed started shaking…the whole house shook for about 20 seconds!

“WTF?”

In a half slumber, I couldn’t process what was happening. I wondered if it was the washing machine going crazy…or a helicopter…or a ghost. Or all of the above. LOL.

Nope, it was an earthquake.

I figured that, once I was awake and out of bed, standing. By that time, the shaking had stopped.

Everyone in the house woke up. It was 7:09 am. We talked about it briefly, then went back to bed.

Luckily, no damage.

We are feeling the “after effects” with less intense shaking every few hours.

When you’re half asleep, you assume all kinds of crazy shit to be true.

I feel like that’s what’s going on with the world right now…

Everyone is still half-asleep…and they’re being “shaken” awake.

They’re trying to process the “coronavirus.” But they’re not fully awake yet.

“Is it deadly? Is it the plague? Is it going to wipe out humanity? Is a sign of the end of times? Does it mean we need to go to the doctor? Should we get tested if we’re still breathing?!..cause that’s a sign that we might get the virus? Dahurrrr.”

People are obviously still half-asleep.

You can tell by the rampant ignorance, fear, and unquestioning adoption of the ridiculous “social distancing” and “online services only.”

I’ve hugged people and done my own thing — why am I not dying?

True, there was some damage done by the earthquake. (The angel on the Mormon temple is missing its trumpet. And some buildings were damaged.)

But “all of Utah” is fine.

…There is some damage done by the worst cases of flu.

But “all of humanity” is fine.

Each individual soul manifests its own unique experience.

Probably the biggest lie is that we’re all “not fine” and that we all have the have the “same experience” in order to be fine.

We think we’re “not fine” when we turn 100% of our power and thinking over to the media and the government…

Which then erodes away our individual experience.

Just because you’re jolted awake does not mean you have to spend the rest of eternity in panic.

I was momentarily stunned by the earthquake… then I was like, “Well, I’m going back to bed.” I needed more rest.

Clearly there was no real crisis.

(Meanwhile, the media and news are drawing it out, milking it, making it seem much worse and scarier than it is. They’re honing in on a few specific cases of bad damage and trying to use that to speak for everyone.)

Now I’m awake, ready to work.

(As I started writing this email… the house rattled again. Yes, Californians, this is my first time experiencing earthquakes. It’s interesting lol.)

I know that cowering in fear won’t help me get my work done, nor will it help me become a better human…so that’s off the table.

Plus, the shakes are “in the past.”

This is the present moment.

As for the “fake” health crisis everyone wants to participate in, I’m continuing to do what I normally do:

– My morning routine where I set my intention for the day and read 2 random Bible verses (they’re very grounding)

– Hydrate with Smart Waters

– Work in 2-3 hour chunks

– Intense workout

– Read, study shit that will uplift me, and mentally decline all BS

– Communicate CLOSELY and MEANINGFULLY with loved ones!!!

– Eat food that energizes

These habits work well for me, and they work for anyone who is awake.

We can all afford to limit our exposure to toxic media… and stick to what’s healthy and productive!
