A lot of the world’s problems could be solved if people took better care of themselves.
When you start looking to others to take care of you…you’re f#cked.
Nobody can do your workouts for you.
Nobody can eat a proper diet for you.
Nobody can get sufficient sleep for you.
Nobody can force your business to pay you a healthy salary.
You’ve gotta do that yourself…it’s all a form of self-care.
Predatory marketers don’t take care of themselves…let alone others.
Anti-marketers cherish self-care.
“Extraordinary self-care” is a big theme for me this year.
I’m looking for even the tiniest areas where I might be slacking in self-care.
As I orient myself towards goals that actually matter to me…I’m seeing that my self-care is very simple. But it all depends on consistency.
The same things would make most of days great — eating clean, eating very little, working out, getting significant book work done, knocking a task off my errands (and getting that nice dopamine hit that comes from “getting shit done”). It’s always the same:
Go to bed earlier, wake up earlier, eat less, work more, dance more.
When I miss any of these things, my day is not as great as it could have been.
Yeah, we can forgive ourselves for slipping up. But we also need to be relentless in caring for ourselves…exquisitely.
Can you imagine a world where every single business owner takes exquisite care of themselves?
Whether it’s spiritually, physically, emotionally, financially, or otherwise…self-care is where it’s at!
What’s one thing you could do today (or this week) to take massive care of yourself?
