n Time to B*tch-Slap Some People | The Anti-Marketing Manifesto

It’s another day in the life of an Anti-Marketer…

I’m at my desk, sipping my cup of green tea.

I check my email to see a message from a long-time client asking me to “bitch slap some people” via my editing. (See screenshot below.)

The first thought that runs through my mind is, “Hell yeah…It would be MY HONOR.”

Who are we bitch-slapping, and why are we bitch-slapping them through writing?

We are bitch-slapping those who are ignorant.

Actually, what we’re bitch-slapping is ignorance itself.

Urban Dictionary defines “bitch slap” as: “To open handedly slap someone. Denote disrespect for the person being  bitch slapped as they are not worthy of a man sized punch. Suggests the slap was met with little resistance and much whining.”

(I love quoting Urban Dictionary. No, I am not a writer who follows the Chicago Manual of Style…or any other style guide.)

Ignorance, I hereby award you a less-than-man-sized punch.
